Trihanyndio Rendy Satrya hold his civil engineering bachelor and master degrees from Institut
Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in 2006 and 2008, respectively. In 2013, he engage his PhD degree via the Joint Degree
Program between Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia and Kumamoto University (KU), Japan. His research
topic is the unsaturated soil condition of the river embankment induced by high fluctuation of river water level
due to seasonal change. He is working under Prof. Ria Asih Aryani Soemitro (ITS), Prof. Indarto (ITS) and Prof.
Toshifumi Mukunoki (KU) supervisions. He is a member of the research grant funded by PEER science cycle 3 - USAID
project entitled "Sediment transport evaluation on Bengawan Solo river (downstream and estuary) to minimize sedimentation
and flood combining effect on nearby infrastructure.". His research interest are in the soil mechanics, soil stabilization,
slope stability, slope protection system and unsaturated soil.
