Bambang Piscesa hold his civil engineering bachelor and master degrees from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in 2006 and 2008, respectively. In 2014
he engage his PhD degree under A/Prof. Mario M. Attard in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CVEN) - The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, NSW 2052,
Australia. His research interest are developing the constitutive model for advanced concrete materials, multi-scale modeling of structures, nonlinear analysis of
reinforced concrete and composite structures and reliability analysis of reinforced concrete structures. Before pursuing his PhD degree, his research also engage in other areas such as:
structural optimization using genetic algorithm, development of nonlinear strut-and-tie model for reinforced concrete, optimization of concrete mix design coupled with
Virtual Rapid Chloride Penetration Test (VRCPT) and nonlinear sectional analysis of reinforced concrete columns. He is also active in developing computer
programs for his research (3D-NLFEA, 2D-NLFEA, ITS-RCCAD, ITS-STM, COMPLAST, VRCPT-MIX-DESIGN and 3D-NLFRAME). All of his created software are presented in this
research group.
